Tony Booysen
Tony is a Medical Doctor with post-graduate training in Anaesthesiology, and is also an ISO-certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and Project Manager.
Tony has spent over ten years in medical practice and management, both in South Africa and in the United Kingdom where he was a key member of the start-up team of the first private Emergency Medical Centre in the UK.
In 2006, Tony completed a Masters in Business Administration degree, with distinction, at the University of Cape Town, achieving academic awards awards within Consulting and Accounting. During this time he also undertook ground-breaking research in applying the principles of Lean Management within the public health sector. Since 2007 Tony has been offering both Management Consulting and Training services, primarily within the public health domain.
Graeme Hay
Graeme holds a Masters degree in Industrial Engineering, and is also a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
Over the past decade Graeme has both worked for and consulted to a host of private and parastatal organizations, including Transnet Rail, BHP Billiton, Arcelor Mittal, South African Revenue Services, Toyota and Daimler Chrysler.
At Conlog, a subsidiary of Schneider Electrical, Graeme successfully led the executive management team through an 18 month Lean deployment, in the process realizing savings in excess of ZAR 2 million during this period.
